We can’t say enough good things about this fun couple! From our first meeting and throughout the entire wedding video process they were so open, enthusiastic and a blast to work with. Side note… for some reason we have had a lot of people coming from the field of psychology this year (5 or 6 I think). Anyway, apparently psychologist make great wedding vow and card writers :-) because we have had some great ones this year. Needless to say, since they are both psychologists we had excellent vows and narrative to work with. As videographers trying to create a compelling story of the wedding day, we lean heavily on the these elements for the narrative structure of the wedding film, which is why we always encourage personal vows and writing cards to each other before the ceremony. We want to create the most personalized videos we can and the more couples open up and share during the wedding day the more unique and compelling the wedding video, we think.

Filming again at the Marriott Marquis Hotel at the San Diego Marina for both the ceremony and reception was a treat with it’s spectacular view of the Coronado Bridge, San Diego Harbor and twinkling lights of the city and bay at night. And working with Holly Ireland Photography is always a great time. Tamara and Nick really planned a great wedding!

A gorgeous day in Point Loma, great vendors, bag pipes, The Thursday Club and an enthusiastic, love struck couple… what more could we want for a wedding video? Bree and Greg were so much fun to work with and made the day a dream. Can’t say enough great things about them. The indomitable Evelyn Francesca Events and Design brought their awesome, as always, making the day go by as smoothly as possible. Great wedding! Congratulations you guys!

Kyle and Brooke had a beautifully authentic, country wedding in Julian, Ca, at Brooke’s parent’s horse ranch. The deep blue skies and golden, oak-spotted hills were a refreshing change of pace. Friends and family all pitched in to put together a very unique and personalized wedding. Kyle, being a firefighter, and an all around great guy, managed to pull off 2 fire engine chauffeurs that delivered the whole wedding party to the reception. What a blast!

Highlights Video (26min.)

Lani & Paul’s wedding was pure joy to film. Between the wedding parties’ enthusiasm, the families’ tight connection and Lani and Paul’s great relationship there was never a dull moment in the video. I had the opportunity to film Lani’s sister Abby’s wedding two years before which made it fun to see a lot of the same people again. Abby did a fabulous job as wedding planner and kept everything running smoothly. Her Dr. Seuss toast is now my official all time favorite. Who knew? Paul and Lani had their ceremony at the Pacific Beach United Methodist Church and the reception at the Admiral Baker Clubhouse. David Champagne Photography did an awesome job and kept finding great light in unexpected places, which is always the challenge. You can view some of the photos from the wedding on David’s blog. Great wedding!
