This has to be one of the most finely crafted and richly orchestrated weddings we’ve ever filmed. When people have a vision and a keen eye for planning, a truly unique wedding experience can arise. Filmed over the course of two days, with two ceremonies and receptions and several locations, just capturing all the unique details and moments of the wedding was a fun challenge in itself. Kenzie and Collin both have a pretty obvious lust for life and vitality that was palpable and infections throughout both days. We did our best just to keep up with them :-) Such a fun two days!

We can’t say enough good things about Michelle and Hyatt’s wedding. The energy and love they both brought to the day was refreshing and fun. Hyatt’s choreographed dance with his groomsmen was awesome!  The decor and planning they put into the wedding was truly amazing. Also, filming at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe is always a treat. It has a certain vintage California decor that we always love.  If that weren’t enough, having the opportunity to work with fabulous vendors really can’t be overstated.  Cynthia from CZ Events rocked it as usual, keeping all those moving parts running smoothly throughout the whole day. I honestly don’t know how they do it.

Filming at the rustic Mt. Woodson Castle is always a treat. Few venues in San Diego have as much character and hand-made appeal. Similarly, Alex and Grace brought their own unique fun, charm and personality to their wedding. We love how they wove traditional Chinese wedding customs in with the western ones. Alex was such a good sport about all the torture they dished out to him in the morning before the tea ceremony. Great wedding!

Emily and Ryan had a lovely outdoor wedding at Paradise Falls Weddings. You really could not ask for two nicer people to work, who have lots of energy and love at a great venue. What more could we ask for?

Update: We don’t always get to see all the comments from our videos. It was so nice of Emily to share the Facebook responses with us.

After all the planning and meetings, it’s always a lot of fun to see a wedding finally come together on the big day. The effort and personality Melissa and Jeremy put into their’s really paid off! The letters they wrote, their great personalized vows with lots of little details about one another are the kinds of things that make a wedding video shine, not to mention Malibou Lake, a great little gem tucked away in the hills and canyons of Malibu. Add a tight group of energetic and creative friends and you have all the ingredients you need. Mazel tov you guys!
