I saw this creative proposal and thought I would share.
Kathryne & Michael’s wedding was a veritable tour of the San Diego Bay. We started at the Sheraton, had the ceremony at Centennial Park on Coronado and then spent the reception touring the bay on a boat beneath a champagne sunset. Their energy, passion and love for each other and all of their friends and family was truly infectious and inspiring.
Melissa and David had beautiful wedding over looking the San Diego Bay at the Bali Hai Restaurant. BTW, for some reason the San Diego evening skyline makes for some amazing backgrounds at that location. Anyway, Melissa and her bridesmaids were a lot of fun and up for just about any crazy video / photo adventure we could devise, which always makes for great footage. What a blast!
Roman & Irina’s heavy-weight domestic rivalry video was a knock out for the wedding guests when it was played before their grand entrance. Filming it was a welcome diversion from the usual love story fare and allowed for a lot of creativity with the boxing theme. Their wedding at the Manchester Grand Hyatt was as beautiful as it was fun. Russian – Ukrainian weddings are always a blast for us to shoot being grand events of infectious energy and enthusiasm, with an old-world charm and modern zest for life. Personally, I think we should stop tapping our glasses to get the couple to kiss, and instead adopt the Russian custom of everyone chanting “Gor’ko! Gor’ko! Gor’ko!” Anyway, we will post the hightights as soon as we can, and you can judge for yourself. Congratulations Roman & Irina!
What do you get when two talented creatives tie the knot? Nikki & Aaron’s fabulously unique, musical matrimonial event, of course. Aaron brought a full cadre of musicians / groomsmen to back him up for two incredibly catchy and romantic songs he wrote for Nikki (I couldn’t stop humming those tunes for days. ) Throw in a lively bridal party, gorgeous decor and you have all the ingredients for a beautiful event.

We had a great time filming Lindsay and Steve’s wedding. Steve’s friends and family from the East Coast were a riot of fist pumping energy and fun. One of the best moments has got to be the ring being tossed from the pews (and caught, thankfully) during the ceremony. Nice catch Mike!
